London has become like a second home to me as my beau lives there. We spend a lot of time in East London, where he lives, and like to explore up-and-coming areas, new restaurants and some of the cities oldest pubs! As the city is so vast, I've broken down this guide in two ways: take the visual guide starting in East London, or scroll to the bottom for a guide by category plus additional options. There is a lot, so you will find somewhere fantastic wherever you are. Cheers!

Lyle's is one of my favorites, particularly for the bread, but all of the food is incredible. Located in Shoreditch, it's a great place for dinner after a long day of shopping.

If you are looking to venture (far) east, head to Limehouse for one of the oldest bars in London and to wander the canals.
The Grapes, est. 1583.
Columbia Road flower market is one of my favorite places on a Sunday. This market has everything at a remarkable price. It's an experience in itself. Note only open on Sundays (year round). If you're staying on the East end, rent a bike to get there!
Accessorizing at the Columbia Road flower market.
The market has what seems like hundreds of flower stalls along with coffee shops and boutiques.
Endless options at the market
End your day on the east side at Sager + Wilde. Go for the pasta happy hour from 5pm-7pm. I need not say more.
Start at Howling Hawks brewery in Hackney, around the corner from CRATE, another favorite. You are sure to get your brewery tour fix at both. Oh! and CRATE has fantastic wood-fired pizza.
Billy Smokes is another great Hackney spot for BBQ.
Another day, another English breakfast. This one is homemade! Should you not have an English chef at hand, try Caravan
Start off in Central/West London with the first stop at Liberty London.

If you've seen enough of London, not to worry, you are only two hours away from Paris. Hop on the Eurostar at St. Pancreas station heading to Paris Gare du Nord. Stop for lunch in King's Cross before you go.
